The Ducks have been busy these past few weeks - busy kicking ass - and here are some of their results.
Way back in January 14th 2017, the Ducks took on a strong team from Clongowes Wood U13 C's away from home. Despite a great score by Jack Hayes they went down 24-7. The boys are really starting to develop their skills now and are improving every week.
Just before the exodus they took part in another three way tournament, this time against Temple Carrig and St. Andrew's. The Ducks won handsomely on a score of five tries to Andrew's B's one, Tom Larke and Denis Cully dotting down twice and Jurre Chukwueke scoring the fifth. They weren't as efficient against Temple Carrig's A's, losing three tries to one. A great day out though for all the boys
Immediately after the exodus break they travelled to Wilson's Hospital School in Mullingar, winning handsomely six tries to the home side's one. Jack Hayes touched down for a hat trick while Pavlo Shvalov, Caleb Swanepoel and Donald Thompson grabbed one each.
Then, earlier today, they took on Sallins and won on a scoreline of 17-12. Tries from Donald Thomson, Denis Cully and Jack Hayes (with a conversion by Tom Larke) were just enough to claim victory in a well spirited encounter, expertly marshalled by Mr. Swift.
